BIG FORK LURES started making cedar wood fishing lures near the town of Littlefork, Minnesota in 1989. This area is located in the heart of some very productive muskie, pike, walleye and bass fishing near the Minnesota and Ontario Canada border. All lures are crafted by the hands of Thomas La Beau who realized there was a demand for a high quality lure that was not being met for the discriminating muskie, pike, walleye and bass angler.

AVITAR™ : Designed for working the 6-8' depths this flat-sided lure has a coffin shaped diving lip to deflect off wood, boulders, etc. and not hang up. Another unique feature is the frantic search action from side to side with the lure always coming back to center on the retrieve. This can be a powerful trigger to entice a strike when predator fish become conditioned to lures that track only in a straight line.
